01
The short answer
A failed recurring payment can affect Pro access after the applicable retry period, but it does not automatically delete your browser-stored Instagram snapshots.
A payment problem can affect paid access without erasing data stored locally on your device.
02
What happens to Pro access?
If a recurring payment fails, access may be restricted after any applicable payment retry period.
The exact subscription status for your account is available through the billing portal.
03
How do you check the billing status?
Open your Social Janitor dashboard and use Manage plan to open the Stripe billing portal.
The portal shows the subscription status and renewal information associated with your account.
For the full billing workflow, read how to manage Social Janitor billing or your payment method.
04
Should you check the payment method?
If Stripe makes payment-method controls available for your subscription, review the current method and billing details in the billing portal.
Social Janitor does not store your complete payment-card number.
05
What happens to local snapshots?
A failed payment does not automatically erase snapshots saved on your device.
Local data and subscription access are separate, so snapshot history can remain in the browser even if Pro access becomes restricted.
06
What if the payment status or charge looks wrong?
Contact Social Janitor if you believe a charge is incorrect, access was not activated after payment or the billing status does not match what you expect.
Use the contact form and include your account email, approximate payment time and a short description of the problem. Do not send full card details.
